SECTION IV PROTOCOL

All electrical equipment will be UL approved.

All chemicals, where called for, shall meet industry standard in regards to OSHA provided EPA regulations and SLIP coefficient ratings approved by the insurance industry for floor finish.

All chemicals will be labeled according to OSHA standards.  (Additional information is provided under Chemical Hazard Communication.)

All acids and caustic substances will be labeled with standard industry warning labels and will be contained in an identifiable container.  We will provide bottled eye neutralizer in the main janitor closet where necessary.

All equipment will be regularly maintained and checked for defective and / or hazardous condition and will be tagged “Out of Service - Do Not Use” until condition is corrected.

All rest room fixtures will be cleaned with an EPA registered             disinfectant.  This product disinfects Vaccinia virus, Influenza A2; also disinfects Herpes Simplex and Adenovirus - Type 2 on inanimate environmental surfaces.

While wet mopping tile floor areas, we will post signs “Caution Wet Floor” for your safety.
